I had the recent pleasure to spend Thanksgivg with my sister-in-law in New York City. It was three of the most wonderfully blissful cooking-free days. If you truly knew me, you would know how much weight that statement really has. I ALWAYS cook for Thanksgiving. My house is the one that all of the family flocks to for the holidays. Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely love cooking for Thanksgiving, but to be able to forgo it this year was THE BEST!!! To add to the bliss, I got to visit with some of my extended family that I haven't seen in years and enjoy my favorite city in the world. There is absolutely nothing like New York City during the holidays. How did you spend your Thanksgiving??
